MoreDecks is a referral service only. We do not perform deck building services, construction work, or any related contracting services. We are not a party to any agreement you enter into with contractors found through our platform.

3. User Eligibility

To use MoreDecks, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

5. User Conduct and Responsibilities

• Engage in fraudulent activities or misuse our referral system
• Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international laws

• Assume responsibility for their actions, omissions, or work product
• Verify all claims made by contractors regarding their qualifications

6.2 Contractor Verification

While we endeavor to verify certain contractor credentials (licensing, insurance), we cannot guarantee the accuracy or currency of all information. Users are strongly encouraged to:

• Independently verify contractor licenses and insurance
• Check references and review past work
• Obtain multiple quotes before making decisions
• Review all contracts carefully before signing
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and permits

6.3 Contractual Relationships

Any agreement for services is exclusively between you and the contractor. MoreDecks is not a party to these agreements and bears no responsibility for:

• Negotiating or enforcing contract terms
• Resolving disputes between users and contractors
• Guaranteeing completion of projects
• Mediating payment disputes
• Addressing quality or workmanship issues

7. Quotes and Pricing

7.1 Quote Requests

When you submit a quote request through MoreDecks:

• Your information will be shared with selected contractors in your area
• Contractors may contact you via phone, email, or other provided contact methods
• You may receive quotes from multiple contractors
• Quotes are non-binding estimates subject to change
• You are under no obligation to accept any quote

7.2 Pricing and Payments

MoreDecks does not:

• Set or control contractor pricing
• Process payments between users and contractors
• Guarantee price accuracy or competitiveness
• Assume liability for payment disputes

All pricing, payment terms, and financial arrangements are solely between you and the contractor.

7.3 Service Fees

MoreDecks' services to homeowners are currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce fees for certain services in the future with advance notice. Contractors may pay fees to be listed on our platform.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 MoreDecks Property

All content, features, and functionality on MoreDecks.com, including but not limited to:

• Text, graphics, logos, images, and software
• The MoreDecks name, logo, and trademarks
• Website design, layout, and compilation
• Proprietary algorithms and methodologies

are owned by MoreDecks or our licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Limited License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use MoreDecks for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

MoreDecks is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service

10.2 No Guarantee of Results

MoreDecks does not guarantee:

• That you will receive any particular number of quotes
• The quality, safety, or legality of contractor services
• The accuracy of contractor credentials or information
• That contractors will respond to your requests
• Successful completion of any deck building project
• Any specific outcome from using our services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, and your use of such resources is at your own risk.

10.4 Accuracy of Information

11. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MoreDecks and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

13.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MoreDecks at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• At our sole discretion for any other reason

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use our services immediately ceases
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive

• We are not liable to you or any third party for termination

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to have disputes heard by a judge or jury. Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator, and the decision will be final and binding.

14.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS ACTION, CONSOLIDATED ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14.4 Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may seek equitable relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property rights. Additionally, either party may bring a claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies.

14.5 Informal Resolution

Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Material changes will be communicated through:
